Miley Cota

Miley is from Buckeye, and she started training with us at eight years old, the year she worked out that superheroes are actors in disguise. She walked in as a shy girl who already knew she wanted to be an actress. One class later the shyness was on its way out, and what came up in its place was a confident, outspoken, strikingly mature young person who takes the work seriously. Here’s her Dearing Story, recorded when she was ten.

What does it mean to you to be yourself?

“Acting is one of the most important things, because I know what I want to do. It makes me feel strong with everything I have.”

How has the training affected your life?

“It has shown me who I am, really. Deep inside.”
