What to Expect
- What it is
- Non-scripted storytelling. Nobody is asked to be funny. The whole approach is listening and reacting truthfully in the moment.
- Who it’s for
- Actors, of course. And anyone who speaks, sells, leads or teaches. The same skills carry into sales, communication, leadership and how you carry yourself in a room. All levels welcome.
- What you’ll gain
- The skills to be fearless, spontaneous, vulnerable and authentic in every performance, on stage and off.
- How we teach
- We take comedy seriously, and have a lot of fun doing it. Every class is built to leave you thinking, feeling, laughing and inspired, quietly building your confidence.
- How it works
- $225 a month for three, two-hour classes. Your spot auto-renews on the 22nd for the month ahead. Month to month, cancel anytime before the 22nd.
- Two classes
- Take a second class and save $80 every month. Two classes are $370.

Matt Dearing changed how I look at Acting, and in turn changed my life.
My wife purchased a month of Improv class for me last year. After the first class, I was hooked and I’m going on my 10th month of class. Matt and Brian create a fun, comfortable, and educational environment.
I’m currently taking Improv at Dearing and it has been the most rewarding interest I have explored to date. The instructors embrace all levels and have a great solid focus on foundations with much room to grow.
