Every Action has an Equal Opposite Reaction

Welcome back to another episode of Mornings with Matt season 2.

Todays topic goes to the core principal of what I do today shapes who I am a year from now. This goes both positive and negative depending on what actions and decisions you’re making.

The Butterfly Effect

Everything we do matters! From little decisions to big ones, they all shape who we are becoming. If you are making choices that lead you towards your goals, you will reach them. On the other hand, if you are making lazy choices, you will stay stagnant. You never want to be caught in a place where you’re wishing things were different. Find your “why” and let it drive you to your goals!

Do what is Hard

Motivational Speaker, Les Brown famously says, “If you do what is hard your life will be easy, but if you do what is easy and your life will be hard”. No matter what anyone else says, we have control over ourselves. Humans were given free will and what we choose to do with it is up to us. We have to continue to make hard decisions that push us forward. No-one should be satisfied with “Just okay”.

Accountability is Key

To really take the bull by the horns, you MUST be accountable for yourself. No-one is going to do it for you. If there’s something you want, you have to grind and go get it! Making excuses for why we didn’t get there doesn’t help anyones cause. First you have to commit to constant analysis of self. Then you must surround yourself with people who are doing the same. Once you’ve done this you can begin growing together and holding each other accountable.
