Welcome to the Master Class Intensive Scene Study

Welcome to the Online Master Class Scene Study Intensive. Throughout the duration of the next 4 days, working actors will put up excerpts of scenes they have been rehearsing for the last 5 weeks.  Each hour, a new excerpt will be put up and receive coaching from Master Coach and Dearing Acting Studio director, Matthew Dearing. They will perform twice during the weekend.

Matthew Dearing first attended Larry Moss’s Intensive in 2005 then attended the class several times after. Since then, Matt and the Dearing Team created their own Intensive scene study similar to Larry’s in Phoenix, Arizona, holding the first intensive weekend in June of 2018.  Actors from all over the valley have brought their work to the Dearing Acting Studio in hopes to go next level as an actor.

Matthew Dearing and the team at the Dearing Acting Studio have produced 14 Masterclass Intensives since the time of their first launch. They plan to hold three intensives per year. This intensives’s focus is to take serious actors to the next level. Actors will dive deep into scene study, memorization, acting and personal technique, script analysis and more.
